The base material contains millions of randomly aligned KEVLAR® brand resin particles. As the grip is used more particles are exposed, so the number of particles at the grip surface increases.
The result is revolutionary with the softest material we have ever produced which lasts three times longer than our current soft material.

Renthal’s revolutionary DUO™ stem combines high strength with ultra low weight. The stem is horizontally divided down the centre which allows it to be CNC machined in two pieces. This method allows unrestricted access to the core of the stem which enables weight to be reduced to the absolute minimum without compromising strength.
In addition this provides an uninterrupted U shape clamping area, which eliminates the stress risers found on most other clamps which can lead to handlebar failure.

Riverside CA, more than a decade ago, the premium british import was a rising BMX racer named Stephen Murray.
The lion hearted racer had already earned six UK national championships by the age of 16. In the states he took dirt jumping and freestyle becoming a three-time back to back X-games and Gravity games gold medalist.
Then in June of 2007, a double backflip ended with a crushed and shattered vertabrae. Stephen was paralyzed from the shoulders down.
